
Factory Digital Twin System
A comprehensive factory digital twin project balancing high-quality visual experience and dual-platform (PC and WebGL) deployment.

Background
Targeted at factory-level digital twin display and management, requiring integration of floor decomposition, fire pipelines, weather switching, video surveillance, personnel positioning, and data dashboards beyond the 3D scene.
Core Challenge
1. High pressure on WebGL package size and loading. 2. Platform differences between PC and WebGL in video, WebView, and interactions. 3. Unified experience needed across multiple buildings, equipment, and business panels.
Solution
Used Unity 6 and URP for the factory scene, utilizing Addressables for resource sub-packaging and load optimization. Designed a scene manager to isolate platform differences. Built modules for floor decomposition, fire pipelines, building highlights, weather system, runtime marking tools, UI following, and embedded web dashboards.
Result & Value
Deployed successfully on both PC and WebGL, supporting plant safety management, tour display, and data dashboard linkage. Established reusable selection systems, UI following, and dual-platform architecture capabilities for future projects.
